Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 brings LTE to entry-level smartphone

Qualcomm unveiled the new processor for budget smartphones. The Snapdragon 210 which manufactured on a 28 nm process is aim to bring LTE capabilities to sub-USD $100 (RM 320) smartphone.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 features:
- 720p display
- 1.1 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU
- Integrated 4G LTE with speeds up to 150 Mbps
- NFC support
- LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation up to 20 MHz (2 x 10 MHz)
- Broad selection of RF options, support for Qualcomm RF360 CMOS PA, antenna switch, antenna matching tuner, and power tracker
- Native H.265 (HEVC) decode - Superior Video core for 1080p video
- Up to 8 MP Camera with superior 3A algorithms, zero shutter lag
- China specific requirements such as LTE Dual SIM/Dual Standby
- Qualcomm Adreno 304 Graphics
- Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support, enabling up to 75% faster battery charging than devices without fast-charging technology

Devices with Snapdragon 210 are expected to arrive during the first half of 2015.
