HTC One (M7), One (M8), One mini and mini 2 getting Android 5.0 Lollipop

After the Android 5.0 was revealed a few days ago to be coming to the Motorola-made Nexus 6 and the HTC-made Nexus 9, HTC has taken to its twitter page to answer some questions about its plans for the newest version of the OS.

This has led to some inquiries from its customers, who have asked about the company's upcoming plans for the newest version of the OS. HTC was happy to share its plans with its customers, revealing that 4 phones would be getting Android 5.0 Lolipop:

HTC One (M7): Would be getting Android 5.0 in 90 days

HTC One (M8): Android 5.0 update coming in 90 days

HTC One Mini: To be announced

HTC One Mini 2: No word on the schedule as of yet

The 90 days countdown begins once HTC receives the final Android 5.0 Lollipop from Google, so HTC users getting impatient should direct their concern Google's way.

HTC has also announced that it will be releasing a complete list of compatible devices, so these 4 should be the first of many getting the Lollipop treatment. We bet our last dime that the Desire Eye would be getting the newest Android update, as well as some of the other Desire smartphones. HTC One Max users, keep your fingers crossed HTC has not forgotten you.
