Google Nexus 6 is now official, manufactured by Motorola

Google has officially announced its latest flagship device - Nexus 6. Unlike previous years, the Nexus 6 is manufactured by Motorola this year instead of LG who manufactured the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5.

The Nexus 6 has a 5.96" AMOLED display with Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution, that's 493 ppi. The screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which can resist scratches. Being the latest flagship device, the Nexus 6 packs a 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB of RAM.

The camera has been upgraded from 8 MP to 13 MP with dual-LED ring flash. It still have optical image stabilization, which would be prefect when you're recording 4K video. The front-facing unit is still a 2 MP shooter.

Just like the Nexus 9, the Nexus 6 also comes with dual front-facing speakers, but not BoomSound speakers. The phablet features 3,220 mAh battery rated for 24 hours talk time. It is not compact and light at all, measures 82.98 x 159.26 x 10.06 mm and weighs 184 g.

The Google Nexus 6 is running on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. It will be available in Midnight Blue and Cloud White with 32 GB and 64 GB options.
