Huawei has announced the mid-range Honor 4X. The device is available for pre-order in China for CNY 1,299 (approximately RM 700).

The Honor 4X has a 5.5" 720p display and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM. Just like the Honor 3C, the Honor 4X has the same 8 GB internal storage but it is expandable up to 32 GB.

The 13 MP camera at the back features f/2.0 aperture accompanied with a 5 MP front camera. Juicing up the device is a 3,000 mAh battery, which is capable up to 72 hours of use time.

The device is running on Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI 3.0. Its body is 7.9 mm thin and although it's a dual-SIM device, but it supports LTE connectivity.

The shipments for the Honor 4X are set to begin next week, on November 6th. Not sure whether it will escape home market or not, but we expect it will arrive Malaysia by the end of the year.
