HTC to launch Desire EYE and RE Camera on 5th December

HTC Malaysia has sent out an invitation for the launch of Desire EYE and RE Camera, which is happening on next Friday (5th December).

Both devices were announced a couple months ago, the Desire EYE is a selfie-centric smartphone with 13 MP front and rear cameras with dual-LED flash too. Both cameras can record 1080p@30fps video. The one on the back has an f/2.0 aperture and a 28 mm lens, while the one on the front has a wider 20 mm lens but a smaller f/2.2 aperture.

While the RE Camera is a small handheld camera that allows you to capture and fully experience every moment, through video and photography, without the hassle and awkwardness of grabbing your phone or camera and missing the moment because you were too busy capturing it.

There's no word on both upcoming gadgets pricing, but the Desire EYE grey import set is now available through a few online resellers for RM 1,798.
