Meizu MX4 Pro goes official with QHD display

If you think that the Meizu MX4, which is on its way to Malaysia, is the latest flagship from the company. You're wrong! Meizu recently has announced the new MX4 Pro, which packs better processing power than the MX4.

As it is the "Pro" version, the MX4 Pro comes with slightly larger 5.5" Sharp-made display. But not only that, the resolution has bumped to QHD (1,536 x 2,560 pixel). Instead of using MediaTek processor, the MX4 Pro is powered by Samsung Exynos 5430 octa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM.

This time Meizu has offered 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions for the MX4. However there's no microSD card slot, yet again.

At the back it has a 20.7 MP f/2.2 Sony IMX220 Exmor RS sensor with dual LED flash. The front has a 5 MP f/2.2 camera featuring OmniVision OV5693 sensor.

The MX4 Pro also features mTouch, which is a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button below the display. The mTouch is covered with Sapphire glass and features a stainless steel metal ring. Meizu claims that the response time is just 0.5 s and its identical angle is 360 degrees.

The MX4 is running on Flyme 4.0 based on Android 4.4 KitKat. There's no word on its availability in Malaysia at the moment.
