Nokia still alive with the N1, an Android powered tablet

What a surprise from Nokia! The company is still alive after Microsoft sale with the announcement of N1, the first Android tablet from Nokia.

In terms of design, the N1 looks just like an Apple iPad mini. It has a 7.9" IPS display with 2,048 x 1,538 resolution, that's 4:3 aspect ratio. It is powered by Intel Atom Z3580 64-bit processor with 2 GB of RAM.

The camera at the back is an 8 MP shooter while there's a 5 MP shooter at the front. The front camera is a fixed focus one, but it's hard to find a tablet with such a high resolution front camera.

The N1 features one piece design and aluminium body with surface anodization. It is just at 6.9 mm thick and 318 g light.

Unlike the X series, the N1 is running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nokia Z Launcher. Meanwhile, Nokia Z Launcher is now available via Google Play Store for download. Simply scribble a letter or two with your finger and it brings up the things you want to know, do and discover.

The Nokia N1 will first available in Chinese market, no word on Malaysian market at the moment.
