Lenovo launches the world's first multi-layered smartphone Vibe X2 in Malaysia

Lenovo Mobile Malaysia today has launched the Vibe X2 in Malaysia. As the world's first multi-layered smartphone, the Vibe X2 is crafted with three layers of distinctive colors.

Powering the Vibe X2 is a MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The Vibe X2 is also a dual SIM device that supports 4G LTE connectivity. Besides that, the Vibe X2 also comes with Vibe Xtension click-on cases, including a Vibe X2 Speaker with Hi-Fi quality JBL sound and Vibe X2 Battery.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 is really comfortable to hold on hand, and it is extremely light at just 120 g. Looking at the back of the phone, it gives us a thought of Sony Xperia smartphone. However, the Vibe X2 isn't using double glass design.

The back has a 13 MP shooter which is able to record 1080p video while the 5 MP camera at the front is able to take decent selfie.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Vibe UI. It is priced at RM 1,199 and available in four different colors - black, gold, red and white.
