Oppo has launched a brand new phablet in its homeland, China. The Oppo U3 is a phablet with 5.9" 1080p display and is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.
Previous rumors had pointed out that the U3 will come with 4x zoom lens, but it turns out that the U3 has a fixed focal length lens after all. The U3 is paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded via Micro SD card.
Despite not having 4x zoom lens, the U3 comes with a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor that can merges 10 photos to become a 50 MP photo. The front-facing camera is still a 5 MP unit with LED flash too.
The Oppo U3 weighs 195 g including the 3,000 mAh battery that capable of fast charging from zero to 75% in 30 minutes. It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and there's no word on its availability in Malaysia at the moment.
