Singapore will be the first country to get this device in the end of the January. Shortly after that, it will be available in other markets (mainly those where LTE is available).

When it was first released in several month ago, the Optimus G ran on Android 4.0 ICS. Now it will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. The Optimus G is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2 GB of RAM, it offer a 13 MP camera at the back, 4.7" 1280x768 resolution display and 2,100 mAh battery.

“LG’s long history of LTE know-how is evident in the DNA of the Optimus G,” said Dr. Park. “As such, we hope consumers will take a deep, hard look at Optimus G when deciding which smartphone will give them the best 4G experience.”

I hope that the Optimus G will be available in Malaysia as Malaysia already support 4G LTE network. So, stay tuned for more information.
