The Asus Fonepad has a 7" IPS LCD display, it is powered by 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor with 1GB of RAM. The Fonepad also comes with 8GB of internal storage and support micro-SD card slot up to 32GB. With it 8GB internal storage, it will be having 3.15MP camera that capable for 720p video recording with 1.2MP front-facing shooter as the 16GB version will not having a main camera. Asus will also 5GB lifetime WebStorage.
The Fonepad are also sports full phone functionality with 3G HSPA+ connectivity. This means that you can use it for phone call. It will also offer a 4,270 mAh battery which offer 9 hours use time.
The Fonepad will running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on-board, it will be available in 2 colors - Titanium Grey and Champagne Gold for RM 849. With the Android Jelly Bean 'Project Butter' and Intel processor with 1GB of RAM, I believe that it will be smoother than the Memo Pad but the price (RM 849) is quite high that you can just add-on RM 50 and go for the Nexus 7.
