The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a competitor for iPad mini and Google Nexus 7 by Asus. It is coming soon to Malaysia within 2 weeks and the price of it is at RM 1,699.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 feels like Galaxy Note II with larger size and display. Thought, it may looks quite weird but it comes with some good specifications.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 with 2GB of RAM which is similar to Note II. It has a 8" (1280x800 pixels) TFT display which is at 189 ppi pixel density. It has a 5MP shooter that capable for 720p video recording and there's 1.3MP front-facing camera too.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 offers 16GB/ 32GB internal storage and support micro-SD card up to 64GB, think that Malaysia will be getting 16GB version only. It is running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and the dimensions of it is 210.8 x 135.9 x 8 mm, weighs 338 g.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will be stock by next week and it is also available in SenQ instead if you are not going to buy it at Samsung Retailer Shop. It will be available in WiFi + 3G/LTE version, mean that you can make a phone call through it. Unfortunately, there's still no information whether the WiFi version will be available in Malaysia or not? Stay tuned.
