Sony Xperia E is now available in Malaysia for RM 499

Just that I think the Sony Malaysia will only brings Xperia E Dual to Malaysia but not single-SIM version Xperia E, the Xperia E is finally available in Malaysia with pricing at RM 499.



Sony Xperia E was the first Sony smartphone that running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. However, the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL were the first Xperia Jelly Bean smartphone that enter Malaysia market.

Xperia E has a 3.5" (320 x 480 pixels) display which is similar to Xperia go and Xperia Miro. It is powered by 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor with 512 MB of RAM. The phone has 4 GB internal memory with micro-SD card slot supported up to 32 GB.


For the camera part, Xperia E has a 3.2 MP camera that capable for VGA video recording, but there's camera dedicated button too. The Xperia E has a 1,500 mAh battery that offer 530 hours stand-by time and 6 hours talk time.

Obviously, it is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sony Timescape UI. The phone dimensions is 113.5 x 61.8 x 11.0 mm and weighs 115.7 g. Sony Malaysia has also state that Xperia SP and Xperia L coming soon, expected both devices will be available next month. Thinking to buy a budget phone? It could be your choice.
