Sony Xperia Z Ultra was scheduled to launch in Malaysia on 1st of August, but you can't wait to know the pricing of it? Today, we went to Sony Centre @ The Curve and we spotted the Xperia Z Ultra. They have listed Xperia Z Ultra official retail price as RM 2,299.
From the photo above, Sony Centre @ The Curve has listed Xperia Z Ultra retail price as RM 2,299 and it is available in black and white colours, expected that the purple version will be arrived Malaysia after the launch event.
However, we noticed that the Xperia Z Ultra's UI is similar to Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean UI but not the latest UI that we saw during the official announcement, we also noticed that it is still powered by Bravia Engine 2 technology on it display but not X-Reality technology. Don't be worry, Sony has stated that Xperia Z Ultra will be getting X-Reality technology in the future through software update, we think that the UI will also be updated after the software update. This situation is same as Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Our first impression of the Xperia Z Ultra is it is too big for us, when we first hold it, we nearly drop the phablet. The performance overall is quite good and the camera quality is surprisingly good. In our opinion, we recommended you to buy a casing for it.
According to Sony Centre @ The Curve, the Xperia Z Ultra is now available. So, will you buy the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 powered device but with a large display or go for the smaller device such as HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 or perhaps the Xperia Z? Leave a comment and let us know what do you think.
