Sony teases Xperia Z1 images, waterproof confirmed

Yesterday, Sony had teased their upcoming flagship device - Xperia Z1, codenamed Honami. Accompanied by the hashtag #bestofSony comes an image of Sony's signature power button, complete with Sony's claims of precision engineering. Today, another Xperia Z1 teaser appeared on Facebook. From the image we can confirm that the Xperia Z1 will be a water and dust resistance smartphone.

 

Sony has clearly showing us that the Xperia Z1 will be a water and dust resistance smartphone with the caption "About to make a splash". Xperia Z1 is expected to unveils on 4th - 6th of September at IFA 2013 and there's also a regional launch held in Malaysia.

Xperia Z1 will be having a 5" Full HD Triluminos display, Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, 20.7 MP camera and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sony's Xperia UI on top.
