Google Nexus 7 (2013) priced from RM 999

Looks like Asus Malaysia finally ready to bring in the new Google Nexus 7 to Malaysia. Asus Malaysia has listed the Google Nexus 7 (2013) in product guide. The Wi-Fi only 16 GB variant will retail at RM 999, while the Wi-Fi + LTE 32 GB variant will priced at RM 1,299.



The pricing of the new Nexus 7 are same as what we expected when it was announced. It's a great competitor the the Apple iPad mini and also a good deal to purchase it.


The new Nexus 7 has the same 7" IPS display but with higher 1920 x 1200 resolution at 320 ppi pixel density. It's the highest resolution 7" display on a tablet and the screen also promise a 30% wider colour gamut.

Other specs include a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 5 MP rear camera, 1.2 MP front camera and run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of box.

Unfortunately, no word on actual date availability but mostly will be around September and October. So, Apple iPad mini or the new Nexus 7? Leave a comment let us know.
