Asus holds an event on 11st of December for the Padfone mini

It seems that Asus has decided to enter the "mini" phone war, Asus has hold an even on 11st of December in Taiwan for new device announcement.



From the press invite above, you can see that the press event is for the Padfone mini official announcement. The Padfone mini is said to feature a 4.3" display with qHD resolution (540 x 960 pixels), and the dock station will be having 7" display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.


Other rumored specs are include Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and 1 GB of RAM. The mini version in the Padfone family is said to boot in Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Meanwhile, the Padfone mini has also leaked in a couple of press renders by evleaks, the smartphone will slide into the tablet in a portrait mode.
