U Mobile launches 4G LTE network in Malaysia

Good news for U Mobile subscribers, U Mobile has just launched the 4G LTE network in Malaysia. However the coverage for the 4G LTE network still not widen in Malaysia, you can check the coverage area at here.



The U Mobile 4G LTE network is currently available in several areas within the Klang Valley namely Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Buchong and Berjaya Times Square, as well as Taman Molek in Johor Bahru.


To enjoy the LTE network, all you need to do is activate it by sending an SMS “LTE ON” to 28118 but note that your device must be a LTE-enabled device. U Mobile 4G LTE is available for existing and new customers who subscribe to one of its existing plans:

-Prepaid – UMI 38 and UMI 48
-Postpaid – U58, U88, E58, E88, UD68, UD98, UD158, U Premium, U Platinum and Internet Share Plan 68
-Broadband Plans – MB40, MB68, and MB128 for prepaid and postpaid plans
-Booster Plans – Prepaid Booster 1GB and Prepaid Booster 1.5GB

It is a good news that the LTE network is also available for prepaid subscribers. U Mobile will also offering LTE device bundle-plans starting from 17 December 2013 to 31 January 2014.
