4G LTE network is now available to Maxis Hotlink users

Maxis was the first telco to launch 4G LTE network in Malaysia, however it is only available in postpaid plan. Here's a good news for all Maxis Hotlink prepaid subscribers, Maxis has recently announced that it is offering 4G LTE for its Hotlink prepaid subscribers and in conjunction with its new offering, the telco is offering up to 50% more data when you sign up for a monthly internet pass of 1GB or 3GB.

To get the 4G LTE network on your Hotlink number, you just have to swap your current Hotlink SIM card to a 4G SIM card for free in selected Maxis Centers, Maxis Exclusive Partners and Hotlink Dealers, and you’ll be able to browse the internet with speeds of up to 75Mbps, that’s about 10 times more than the maximum speed that 3G offers.

U Mobile launches 4G LTE network in Malaysia

Good news for U Mobile subscribers, U Mobile has just launched the 4G LTE network in Malaysia. However the coverage for the 4G LTE network still not widen in Malaysia, you can check the coverage area at here.

The U Mobile 4G LTE network is currently available in several areas within the Klang Valley namely Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Buchong and Berjaya Times Square, as well as Taman Molek in Johor Bahru.

DiGi officially launch 4G LTE network

Few days ago, rumor said that DiGi will launch 4G LTE network on 5th July, the rumor is now come true. DiGi has officially launch 4G LTE network in Malaysia.

However, the network is now available in DiGi Broadband and selected tablet plan - Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Asus Transformer Pad and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity. We're not sure that why it is not available in iPad mini and iPad with Retina Display yet? Hopefully it will be available soon.

DiGi is ready to launch LTE network on 5th July

Good news for DiGi users, there's a rumor said that DiGi will be officially launching its LTE service on 5th June which is this coming Friday.


Noted that this is just a rumor without any official confirmation. According to this rumor, the LTE can get speeds up to 32 Mbps for downloads and 15 Mbps for uploads.

Maxis offers 4G LTE for smartphone- HTC One XL and Nokia Lumia 920


[Updated: The HTC One XL has 32GB internal memory but not 16GB.]

Maxis are the first operator to offer 4G LTE in Malaysia, and now it finally offer 4G LTE service for smartphone, the HTC One XL and Nokia Lumia 920.

It looks like the HTC One XL are now available in Malaysia after it announced in MWC last year. The HTC One XL comes with RRP RM 2,099 but Maxis are now offer RM 1,199 and the Nokia Lumia 920 are now offer as low as RM 1,099. Both devices will be tied with either Maxis SurfMore 75 or TalkMore 78 with 3 GB bolt on data plan.

The HTC One XL are almost same as the One X, it just offer a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 16 GB internal memory while the One X is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 32 GB internal memory. The devices will be available at Maxis centres at KLCC and TTDI.

Maxis launch 4G LTE network

We waiting for the 4G LTE network in Malaysia since long time ago, and finally Maxis did it and it was the first operator to launch 4G LTE network.


In an official statement Maxis has announced that it now has LTE networks available at Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Damansara Utama, Desa Sri Hartamas, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Bandar Sunway and Cyberjaya, and by doing so, is officially the first telco in Malaysia to make LTE available in the country. Maxis plans to light up other parts of the country with LTE “soon”.
