Motorola Moto G available in Malaysia on January 21st, priced at RM 698 and RM 798

Brightstar Malaysia has announced that the Motorola Moto G will be officially available for sale from 21st of January onwards.



For specs recap, the Motorola Moto G is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB of RAM. It has a 4.5" display with HD resolution at 329 ppi of pixel density. As for the storage options, the Moto G will be having both 8 GB and 16 GB versions, both versions do not support microSD card slot. However owners will get an extra 50 GB of Google Drive storage free for two years to safety keep and share photos, documents and other files.

Although the Moto G doesn't has Moto Maker customization like the Moto X, but it does come with different colours and you can either purchase the Motorola Shell or the Motorola Flip Shell. Both shells cost RM 78 and RM 128 respectively.

The Motorola Moto G will be available for sale through major wireless operators, major retailers, consumer electronics stores and Lazada Malaysia. Pre-booking is available exclusively through Lazada Malaysia from now until 20th of January. Pre-bookers will get a black Motorola Flip Shell which worth RM 128 and a clear screen protector that worth RM 18.

While for those users purchased the Moto G after 21st of January will come with an additional Motorola Shell and screen protector.

Meanwhile, Malaysia is getting the dual-SIM variant of the Moto G, there's no word on the availability of the single-SIM variant.
