Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 gets Lite version

It seems that a lot of manufacturers like to release "mini" version or "lite" version of their products. The latest manufacturer that announced a "lite" version tablet is Samsung - Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0.

The tablet has a 7" WSVGA (1,024 x 600 pixel) display, which is common for an entry-level tablet. It is powered by 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. At the back it has a 2 MP rear camera instead of a 3.15 MP resolution and there's no front-facing shooter on it.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 has 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot. As for the battery, the lite version of Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has only a 3,600 mAh battery, which is even smaller than Huawei Ascend Mate's 4,050 mAh battery. Samsung claims that the battery can last up to 8 hours for video playback.

The tablet is measured at 9.7 mm thin and weight 310 g. It is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and although the Android version is a little bit outdated, but Samsung has offered Dropbox cloud storage and Polaris Office for the tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 will be available in white and black colours. There's no word on the availability and the pricing of it yet but we will get back to you once we have the news on it.
