LG has just took a wrap off for the mini version of LG G2, the LG G2 mini is now official with mid-range specs.
The G2 mini has a identical look as the G2, it has a smaller display and the device is available in four colours - black, white, red and gold, just like its bigger brother. The G2 mini has a smaller 4.7" qHD (540 x 960 px) display instead of 720p HD as rumors suggested.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 400 or Nvidia Tegra 4i processor. Both will have 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU with 1 GB of RAM. Just like its bigger brother, the G2 mini also features rear keys and it has all of the features such as Knock On, Guest Mode and more as found on the G2.
At the back there's an 8 MP shooter with LED flash but no word on the present of OIS. It has 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot. Juicing up the device is a 2,440 mAh battery and it is running on Android 4.4 KitKat with latest LG's UI.
The G2 mini will be available in Russia first in March and other markets such as Middle East, Latin America, Asia and Europe will get it in April. Well we guess we still need to wait for a very long period as there's no word on arrival of LG G2 in Malaysia yet. We hope LG could bring all the latest smartphones to Malaysian market.
