Sony Xperia E1 Dual now available in Malaysia for RM 499

Sony hasn't mentioned when will the Xperia E1 arrive Malaysia during the media event in Jakarta. Surprisingly, the dual-SIM version Xperia E1 is now available in Malaysia and it is priced at RM 499.



The Xperia E1 Dual is the successor of the Xperia E, it has a bigger 4" display with WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution, faster 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8210 processor but with the same 512 MB RAM and promised better speaker.


Sony claims that the loudspeaker is capable of hitting 100 dB, which is pretty loud enough. Sony didn't upgrade the resolution of the Xperia E1 but the 3 MP camera is now able to record 720p HD videos. The Xperia E1 has 4 GB internal storage with microSD card slot.

The device is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Xperia UI, no word on the KitKat update. As for the single-SIM variant Xperia E1, we have no information about its availability and pricing but we expected it will arrive sometime around April and will be priced at RM 449.
