[Update] Motorola Moto X coming to Malaysia, available for pre-order now

[Update] Brightstar Malaysia has revised the pricing of Moto X to RM 1,499. The price change will only affect buyers from 8th of April, those who made their pre-orders earlier will not be affected.

Motorola has unveiled the Moto X 8 months ago, and just when we think that Malaysia won't getting the device, it is now coming soon to Malaysian market, which is even later than the Moto G that was announced in November last year. The long wait is over, the Moto X is now available for pre-order and it will hit the shores by the end of April.



The official pricing of the device is at RM 1,399 RM 1,499, which costs RM 700 more than the 8 GB Moto G. However, you can get the Moto G for RM 1,349 RM 1,459 once you pre-order it from Storekini.com and there's a special price for LowYat.Net member at RM 1,299 RM 1,399.


The Moto X has a 4.7" display with 720p resolution. The device is powered by 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 GPU and 2 GB of RAM.

At the back it has a 10 MP Clear Pixel camera with LED flash. However, just like it's younger brother, the Moto X has only 16 GB internal memory without microSD card slot. The Moto X is also a LTE-capable device that can work on our local LTE bands.

Juicing up the device is a 2,200 mAh battery and it is running on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
