Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy K zoom, the successor of the Galaxy S4 zoom. The latest camera phone from Samsung packs a larger display, better processor and camera.
The Galaxy K zoom has a better camera, it features a 20.7 MP 1/2.3 BSI CMOS sensor and a 10x, 24-240 mm F3.1-6.3 zoom lens with optical image stabilization (OIS). As usual it has a xenon flash with LED autofocus assist. The front-facing shooter uses 2 MP resolution.
The device has a 4.8" Super AMOLED HD display, Exynos 5 Hexa processor with four 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 cores plus two 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex-A15 cores. Multitasking won't be a problem for the new Galaxy K zoom as it packs 2 GB of RAM.
The 8 GB internal memory is expandable via microSD card up to 64 GB and the 2,430 mAh provides enough juice to users shooting all the time.
The Galaxy K zoom is running on Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz Magazine UX. It will be available in Malaysia sometime in June and, black and white colours will hit the shores first while the blue version will come later.
