Sony Xperia E1 now available in Malaysia for RM 459

The dual-SIM variant Sony Xperia E1 was available in Malaysia since last month, and now the single-SIM variant Xperia E1 is now available in Malaysia for just RM 459.



The device has a 4" display with WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution. It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8210 processor with 512 MB RAM.


Sony claims that the loudspeaker is capable of hitting 100 dB, which is pretty loud enough. Sony didn't upgrade the resolution of the Xperia E1 but the 3 MP camera is now able to record 720p HD videos. The Xperia E1 has 4 GB internal storage with microSD card slot.

The Xperia E1 measures are 118 x 62.4 x 12 mm and weighs at 120 g. Juicing up the device is a 1,700 mAh battery.

The device is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Xperia UI and it is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat in the future. It is now available in Malaysia for RM 459 and comes in black, white and purple colour options.
