Just like the Moto G, the Moto E is a dual-SIM device. It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor backed up by Adreno 302 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. The device is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and, surprisingly, the company promises that the device is upgradeable to the next Android version.

At the back, the Moto E has a 5 MP camera without the LED flash. The device does not have front facing camera. Although the Moto E has only 4 GB internal memory (2.21 GB user available), but thankfully it does come with microSD card slot, which you don't find in the Moto G and Moto X.

Connectivity side, the Moto E features 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio. Juicing up the device is a 1,980 mAh battery, which is capable of lasting through a whole day of constant usage. Its measures are 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3 mm and weighs 140 g.

The Motorola Moto E launch today in India, UK, Brazil, Mexico, Spain and Canada. The device is priced at INR 6,999 in India (around RM 379), which is the half price of Moto G. However, its competitor - Asus ZenFone 4, is even more affordable with the price tag of RM 299.
The Motorola Moto E is available in Black, Turquoise and Lemon colour options. Its back cover is exchangeable to different colours just like the Moto G. No word on the release date and pricing in Malaysia but we expect it will arrive soon.
