Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series tablets hit Malaysian market, available next week

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series tablets were announced last month, and now the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and Galaxy tab 4 10.1 will hit our shelves from next week onwards.

  

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a 7" WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) display. The slate is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. It also has a 3 MP camera at the back and 1.3 MP front-facing shooter.

The tablet has 8/16 GB internal and is expandable via microSD card. The slate is running on Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI and its measures are 107.9 x 186.9 x 9 mm with the weight of 276 g.


The 10.1" Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the same WXGA resolution. Nothing much different despite the screen size - 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. It also has a 3 MP camera at the back and 1.3 MP front-facing shooter.

The tablet also has the same 16 GB internal storage with microSD card, and it is running on Android 4.4 KitKat. Its measures are 243.4 x 176.4 x 7.95 mm and weighs 487 g with 6,800 mAh battery.

As for the pricing, the Galaxy tab 4 7.0 (16 GB and 3G + Wi-Fi) and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (16 GB and LTE + Wi-Fi) is priced at RM 999 and RM 1,499 respectively. Furthermore, every purchase of the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 will include a free 16 GB microSD card from Samsung Malaysia. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 will be available from May 26th and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 will be available from May 19th, both tablets come with black and white colours.
