Sony Mobila Malaysia today has officially made the Xperia M2 Dual available in Malaysia. The Xperia M2 Dual was announced back to MWC 2014 alongside with Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet, it is the latest dual-SIM device from Sony with mid-range specifications.
The Xperia M2 Dual packs a 4.8" display with qHD resolution. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB expandable memory.
The 8 MP camera at the back is able to record 1080p videos and there's a VGA front facer too. The device uses the same OmniBalance design as the Xperia Z2.
The device is boot in Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sony's Xperia UI, it is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat in the future.
The Xperia M2 has 2,300 mAh battery, and also weighs at 148 g with 8.6 mm thickness. It is now available in black, white and purple colours for RM 939. No word on the single-SIM variant availability.
Meanwhile, the Xperia Z2 has appeared on Sony online store earlier with the price tag RM 2,399, but Sony has removed the offer. Does this means that the Xperia Z2 is hitting our shores very soon?
