Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Redmi Note will be available in Malaysia next month

Xiaomi Malaysia has announced that the Redmi 1S and Redmi Note will be available in Malaysia next month. The new Redmi 1S will be priced at RM 419 and the Redmi Note will be priced at RM 509. Both devices will be available in Malaysia from July 8th and July 22nd respectively.

The Redmi 1S is an upgraded version of Redmi with 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor instead of MediaTek chipset. It has the same 4.7" 720p display, 8 MP camera, 8 GB expandable memory and 2,000 mAh battery.

The new Redmi Note that coming to Malaysia is powered by 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The phablet features a 13 MP camera with LED flash and there's a 5 MP front-facing shooter too. It has 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot for further memory expansion.
