Asus ZenFone 4 (A450CG) now available in Malaysia, Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) pricing reduced

Back to Computex 2014, Asus has announced a ton of new devices including two new ZenFone smartphones. The wait is over, Asus Malaysia has announced the ZenFone 4 (A450CG) is now available in Malaysia.

The new Asus ZenFone 4 (A450CG) is an upgraded version of the original ZenFone 4. It has a larger 4.5" display with the same FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution that covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with 1 GB of RAM. The device has the same 8 GB on board storage and is expandable via microSD card up to 64 GB.

The new ZenFone 4 has an 8 MP PixelMaster shooter at the back with LED flash, the previous ZenFone 4 has only 5 MP camera and does not have LED flash. Juicing up the device is a 1,750 mAh battery, which is even larger than the previous ZenFone 4. Pricing wise, the new ZenFone 4 (A450CG) is priced at RM 369 with black, white and blue color options.

Meanwhile, Asus Malaysia has also announced that the 8 GB version Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) is now priced at RM 429.

The Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) comes in a range of colors, and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor. It is narrower than its predecessor, with an 11 cm width so it can be easily held in one hand. A narrow bezel design provides users with a larger viewing area on which to experience the brand new ZenUI interface.
