Asus ZenFone 4 (A450CG) and ZenFone 5 LTE
Asus has refreshed the ZenFone lineup, just as we reported earlier, the new ZenFone is now support 4G LTE and with different screen size. The new Asus ZenFone 4 (A450CG) is an upgraded version of the old ZenFone 4 (not old actually, but the previous version). It has a larger 4.5" display with the same FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution that covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with 1 GB of RAM. The device has the same 8 GB on board storage and is expandable via microSD card up to 64 GB.
The new ZenFone 4 has an 8 MP PixelMaster shooter at the back with LED flash, the previous ZenFone 4 has only 5 MP camera and does not have LED flash. Juicing up the device is a 1,750 mAh battery, which is even larger than the previous ZenFone 4.
As for the ZenFone 5 LTE, it has the same 5" HD IPS+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 2 GB of RAM, which is now support 4G LTE connectivity.
Nothing much different between the ZenFone 5 LTE and the current one that on sale in several markets. It still has the same 8 MP PixelMaster camera, 16/32 GB internal storage, microSD card slot and a 2,110 mAh battery.
Both ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 5 LTE are running on Android 4.4 with ZenUI out of the box.
Asus Transformer Pad (TF300CL and TF103C)
Besides the ZenFone smartphones, Asus has also introduced two new Transformer Pad series tablets - TF300CL and TF103C. The TF300CL is a 4G LTE tablet and it sports a 10.1" WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) display.
The tablet is powered by 1.86 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 processor with 2 GB of RAM. It has a 5 MP shooter at the back and 1.2 MP shooter at the front. Juicing up the tablet is a 25 Wh battery with 10 hours battery life.
The Transformer Pad TF103C is an entry-level tablet with the same 10.1" WXGA display. It is also powered by the same processor as the TF300CL but with 1 GB of RAM.
The tablet has only 2 MP shooter on its back and there's a VGA front-facing camera. It has a smaller 19 Wh battery with 9.5 hours battery life. The 3G version of TF103C will be available in the markets from July onwards.
Both tablets come with the QWERTY hardware keyboard dock and run on Android 4.4 KitKat with ZenUI.
Asus PadFone S
The Asus PadFone S is the global version of PadFone X, it has the same 5" display for the smartphone and 8.9" display for the PadFone station. The smartphone has a 2,300 mAh battery while the PadFone Station has an additional 4,990 mAh battery.
The PadFone S is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The 16 GB internal storage is expandable via microSD card up to 64 GB.
At the back it has a 13 MP camera with PixelMaster technology while the front-facing shooter will be a 2 MP unit for the smartphone and 1 MP for the PadFone station.
The device is also running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Asus ZenUI.
