[Update] Motorola Moto E to be available in Malaysia on 13th August

[Update] The Motorola Moto E is now available in Malaysia.

Three months exactly after it announced, the Motorola Moto E is finally on its way to Malaysian market. The most affordable smartphone from Motorola is expected to arrive Malaysia tomorrow (13th August) exclusively through Lazada Malaysia.

The Moto E has a 4.3" display with qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution at 256 ppi of pixel density, it is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is resistant to water splashes, just like the Moto G.

Under the hood is the 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor backed up by Adreno 302 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

It has a 5 MP camera at the back with the exception of LED flash. The device doesn't have front-facing camera and its internal storage is only 4 GB (2.21 GB user available), but thankfully it does come with microSD card slot.

Juicing up the device is a 1,980 mAh battery, which is capable of lasting through a whole day of constant usage. The device supports dual-SIM slot too.

The device is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and, surprisingly, the company promises that the device is upgradeable to the next Android version.

Pricing wise, the Moto E will be priced at RM 369 and it seems that we will be getting the black color version first according to Lazada Malaysia.
