The Oppo Neo 5 has a 4.5" FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display with the pixel density of 218 ppi. The device features 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB expandable storage.
At the back it has a 5 MP camera with a BSI CMOS sensor and f/2.4 aperture. There's a 2 MP front-facing camera too.
The phone supports screen-off gestures, which found on other Oppo smartphones. It measures 132 x 65.8 x 9.2 mm and weighs 132.5 g.
Juicing up the device is a 1,900 mAh battery and it boots in ColorOS based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Oppo hasn't provide any news regarding to the software update as the ColorOS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat is still in work.
The Oppo Neo 5 is now available in Malaysia for RM 598, which crowned as the cheapest 4G LTE smartphone.
