Back to June, Huawei took a wrap off the Honor 6 with the company's Kirin 920 octa-core chipset and 3 GB of RAM. The Kirin 920 processor supports 4G LTE too, which is world's first octa-core smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity.
The device sports a 5" 1080p display from JDI, which covers 75.7% of the front and is surrounded by sub-3 mm bezels. It is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass, which means it is scratch-free. Measuring at 139.6 x 69.7 x 7.5 mm, the Honor 6 is pretty slim and it only weighs 135 g.
The Huawei Honor 6 packs a 13 MP camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. It has a 5 MP front-facing camera with 1.4 µm pixels, 88° FoV and f/2.4 aperture, which also features groufie (panorama selfie).
Juicing up the device is a 3,100 mAh battery, which complimented with a power saving technology that enables savings up to 30% in power usage through intelligent scheduling and arbitrary combination, according to CPU load.
The Honor 6 is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with EMUI 2.3 out of the box, it is upgradable to EMUI 3.0 in the future.
Pricing wise, the Honor 6 is priced at RM 999. Pre-orders will start from September 29th to October 14th. The Honor 6 will be available on Vmall.my and Lelong from October 16th onwards.
The Huawei Honor Tablet, is the company's most affordable tablet. It sports an 8" IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution at 188 ppi. The slate is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8212 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB expandable storage.
The slate has a 5 MP fixed focus camera at the back with f/2.4 aperture accompanied with VGA front camera.
The tablet has a 72% screen-to-body ratio and it is juiced by a 4,800 mAh battery allows 10 hours of video and gaming or 20 hours of music.
The Honor Tablet is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with EMUI 1.6. It will be available for pre-order from September 29th and will be available on Vmall.my for RM 599.
