After the announcement of the new A series smartphones(released in Malaysia yesterday) few months ago and E series smartphones few days ago, Samsung unveiled another member of its Galaxy Grand series smartphone, the Galaxy Grand Max. It's supposed to hit the shelves today in South Korea which cost at KRW 319,000(around $290).
The handset features 5.25" display (720 x 1,280) and is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-core unnamed processor which could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. Also, it has 1.5 GB RAM, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera which can shoot up to 120-degree viewing angle, 16 GB internal memory with Micro SD card support and CAT 4 LTE enabled. Nevertheless, includes 2,500 mAh battery. This gives the phone with new quilted pattern on the back with thickness only 7.9 mm thin. On the other hand, it will run on Android KitKat out of the box (might be upgradeable to Android Lollipop).
However, there is no words yet from Samsung whether it would be available on international markets.
