The device, which was announced back at IFA 2014 was unveiled as a premium alternative to Samsung's new Galaxy note 4. It shares quite a bit of similar hardware to its counterpart such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 2.7GHz quad-core processor, 3 GBs of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, a new S pen, 16 MP Smart OIS camera and a 3.7 MP front-facing camera.
Probably the most unique aspect of the Note Edge is the display, which curves to the right side of the phone. Samsung have christened it the Edge Screen, this 2560 x 160 already has a few applications such as being a notifications ticker and a bedside clock which is always visible.
According to our sources, Samsung is planning to release the Note Edge around early February. Those interested in buying should remember this is said to be the 'premium' option for the Note 4 so instead of expecting a RM 2,499 price like before, a price closer to RM 3,000 should be expected.
