During the launch of Galaxy A3 and A5, Samsung Mobile Malaysia today has also showcased the unannounced Galaxy A7.
Yes, you hear me right! Samsung Mobile Malaysia has showcased the unannounced Galaxy A7 and we managed to hands-on the smartphone. The Galaxy A7 shares the same design language as the A3 and A5, but with a larger 5.5" HD Super AMOLED display.
The Galaxy A7 has the same full metal unibody design, which feels great on hand. One hand operation is not a big problem even though it has a 5.5" display. The phone is pretty light and it is slim too, even slimmer than the Galaxy A3 and A5.
As the back cover is non-removable, the SIM slot and Micro SD card slot are at the right side of the phone alongside with the power button. The volume rocker is at the left side just as usual.
There's microphone on top of the phone, while the Micro USB port and 3.5 mm headphone jack are below the phone. Nothing much different from the Galaxy A3 and A5.
Software wise, the Galaxy A7 is pretty similar to the A3 and A5. It should be powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The rear camera is a 13 MP unit accompanied with the same 5 MP front camera with wide selfie feature.
