Huawei has announced a few new products at MWC 2015, these are included phablet, wearables and a Bluetooth headset.
Huawei MediaPad X2
The MediaPad X2 is a dual SIM phablet with LTE connectivity. The phablet is thin at just 7.28 mm and its 7" HD (1,200 x 1,920) IPS display with 80% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the phablet is the home baked 64-bit Kirin 930 octa-core processor. As Huawei categorizes it as a phablet instead of tablet, it's not surprising to know that there's a 13 MP camera at the back and 5 MP camera at the front.
Juicing up the device is a 5,000 mAh battery which capable for streaming online video for up to 12 hours, 15 hours of web browsing and 60 hours music playback. The MediaPad X2 will come in a standard 2 GB RAM+ 16 GB ROM version in a moonlight silver body and a premium version with a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM storage option in an amber gold body.
Huawei Watch
The Huawei Watch, is the company's first ever Android Wear device. It sports a 1.4" AMOLED circular display, scratch-proof sapphire crystal lens, cold-forged stainless steel frame, and comes with a built-in heart rate monitor and 6-Axis motion sensors.
The watch is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. Just like the rest of Android Wear devices, the Huawei Watch is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or later.
Huawei Watch will be available in more than 20 countries including United States, United Kingdom, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates. Exact availability and pricing will be announced at a future date in each of the local markets. By now it is the best looking smartwatch I've ever seen.
Huawei TalkBand B2
The TalkBand B2 is a fitness tracking device, as well as a Bluetooth earpiece. Its smart detection can automatically identify and record motions accurately, detect the duration of deep sleep and light sleep, and provide consumers with health tips on ways to improve their sleep pattern, thanks to the advanced 6-axis sensor.
The TalkBand B2 also comes with dual-microphone, noise reduction technology and quality Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it is also equipped with smart detection to understand whether the Bluetooth earpiece is on the wristband or not, allowing it to automatically push audio (music/call) to the smartphone or B2 bracelet. The TalkBand B2 is able to search and locate your paired smartphone too.
According to Huawei, the TalkBand B2 battery is able to operate up to 5 days, support continuous call time up to six hours, and 12 days standby time. It is compatible to Android 4.0 and above smartphones as well as iOS 7 devices.
Huawei TalkBand N1
The Huawei TalkBand N1 is the first Hi-Fi stereo + Bluetooth headset featuring 4 GB of local MP3 storage for 1,000 songs, Bluetooth calling, and sports tracking. With a 20-20 KHz frequency range, TalkBand N1 provides the finest sound quality with higher expressiveness. Housing APTX Bluetooth transmission technology, users will enjoy CD quality sound through the Bluetooth headset.
The TalkBand N1 is also a health and sports tracker with functionalities include step counting, distance calculation, calorie consumption tracking, and more. It also carries a function that broadcasts the names or phone numbers of incoming calls so users won't miss a call on the road.
Besides, the TalkBand N1 is also IP54 dust and water resistant. It will be available in silver, grey and red colors.
