The Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL are both a mid-range smartphone. Both devices are different in size and rear camera. The Lumia 640 sports a 5" HD display while the XL version has a 5.7" HD display.
Powering both devices are 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1 GB of RAM. The Lumia 640 packs an 8 MP rear camera and its bigger brother has a 13 MP rear camera with ZEISS optics.
The battery life should be decent with 2,500 mAh for the Lumia 640 and 3,000 mAh for the Lumia 640 XL. Both devices will ship in Windows Phone 8.1, Microsoft has stated that all Lumia devices running on Windows Phone 8.1 is upgradeable to Windows 10 later this year.
The Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL will be available in single and dual SIM versions, both versions support 4G LTE.
