The Galaxy S4 Zoom is expected to announced at Samsung Premiere 2013 press event but surprisingly Samsung announced it before the press event.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom comes with the specs that combine with Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy Camera, it sports a 4.3" qHD (540 x 960 pixels, 256 ppi) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Galaxy S4 Zoom is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. The design of it looks like Galaxy S4 mini but it is much thicker at 125.5 x 63.5 x 15.4 mm.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom weighs at 208 g which is quite heavier than the Galaxy Note II and Lumia 920, but it is because Samsung putting much larger camera module and the proper grip for the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
The camera duty makes the Galaxy S4 Zoom shine, it has 16 MP sensor, a 10x zoom and a xenon flash. It's capable of 10x optical zoom, which is less than 21x zoom of the Galaxy Camera, but the cameraphone has a 24 mm wide lens, which we believe is more important.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is also capable for 1080p@30fps and 720p@60fps video recording. The cameraphone has a 1.9 MP front camera for video chatting. At the storage part, the Galaxy S4 Zoom only packs a 8 GB internal storage which is only 5 GB user available, if you think it is not enough, you can expand the memory via microSD card up to 64 GB.
Connectivity options included Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and A-GPS. The Galaxy S4 Zoom is able to make phone calls and supports 3G with HSPA and even LTE connecivity.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz Nature UX. It has a 2,330 mAh battery so it should be able to take you through a day of smartphone usage and calls even you take more photo.
