Sony Xperia Z1
The Xperia Z1 is the latest flagship device from Sony after the Xperia Z and Xperia Z Ultra. Inside the slim 8.5 mm body, the Xperia Z1 has a large 1/2.3" sensor which is 70% larger than the sensors on most phones and Sony achieved it without sacrificing the body and design of the phone.
Sony Xperia Z1 camera uses all-Sony tech - f/2.0 Sony G lens, Sony Exmor RS sensor and Sony BIONZ image processor.
The camera can shoots 20.7 MP stills and records 1080p video, not 4K as rumored before. Sony has developed a custom camera app that offers manual controls and impressive augmented reality features. Third-party devs will be able to use the advanced features of the camera to make their own apps as well.
The Xperia Z1 shares the same features as the Xperia Z, but it comes with upgraded specs such as 5" Full HD Triluminos display with X-Reality for mobile, 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, IP58-certified for water and dust resistance (which mean you can submerge it down to 1.5 meter water level for 30 minutes), bigger 3,000 mAh battery and running on latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Sony Xperia Z1 has 2 GB of RAM alongside with 16 GB expandable storage. The new flagship has 4G LTE connectivity, along with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and NFC, which are used to connect with the next couple of gadgets.
The Sony Xperia Z1 will be available next month in Black, White and Purple, pricing is yet to be revealed.
