The Asus PadFone S has a 5" Full HD IPS display at 441 ppi while the PadFone station has an 8.9" display. It is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The 16 GB internal storage is expandable via microSD card up to 64 GB.
At the back it has a 13 MP camera with PixelMaster technology while the front-facing shooter will be a 2 MP unit for the smartphone and 1 MP for the PadFone station.
The smartphone has a 2,300 mAh battery while the PadFone Station has an additional 4,990 mAh battery.
The Asus PadFone S is running on Android 4.4 KitKat with ZenUI. It will be available in Malaysia next week, and, guess what? The device is only priced at RM 899 for the smartphone only, while the PadFone station is expected to price at RM 499. We guess the PadFone S is a flagship killer as it is RM 1,000 plus cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8) with same specs range.
The Asus PadFone S is scheduled to be available in Malaysia from 15th October onwards and black will be the only color available in Malaysia, while the white version will be coming in later date.
