Samsung Malaysia today has announced the arrival of the Galaxy A7, which was showcased in Malaysia earlier this month.
The Galaxy A7 is the company's slimmest smartphone ever at just 6.3 mm. Just like its siblings, the device features the same metal unibody design. The display is slightly larger at 5.5" with Full HD resolution and Super AMOLED panel. Processor wise, Malaysia will be getting the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 version with four 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores.
The Galaxy A7 has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded via Micro SD card up to 64 GB. The camera at the back is a 13 MP unit which capable for 1080p video recording, whilst the front is a 5 MP camera with wide selfie and palm selfie features.
Juicing up the device is a 2,600 mAh battery and the device is running on Android 4.4 KitKat with brand new TouchWiz UI that comes with changeable theme.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 will be available in Malaysia from February onwards at the retail price of RM 1,499 with Pearl White, Midnight Black and Champagne Gold color options.
