[Update] Motorola Moto G will launch in Malaysia on January 16th

[Update] We have received the invitation for attending the media launch of Motorola Moto G from Brightstar Malaysia.

After a long wait, it seems that Brightstar Malaysia is ready to bring the Motorola Moto G to Malaysian market.



Brightstar Malaysia has just sent out an invitation for the Moto G media event. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the invitation from Brightstar Malaysia. Back to November 2013, Motorola has announced the Moto G and we have posted that it will be available in Malaysia soon. Just as expected, the Moto G will be available in Malaysia by this month.

LG announced Brightstar as official local retailer for LG smartphone

LG Malaysia has finally announced its partnership with Brightstar Malaysia as the national distributor of selected LG Optimus smartphones. This means that more Optimus smartphones will be available in Malaysia soon, including Optimus G Pro. The LG Optimus G, Optimus L9 and Optimus L5 II Dual are now officially available at all retailers nationwide.



This prove that the previous news that we posted was true. The Optimus G, Optimus L9 and Optimus L5 II Dual available in this month and LG Malaysia promises that it will be more LG Optimus smartphones to come in the future.

LG and Brightstar hold Optimus Press Conference on 22th May

Previously we have posted a news about the availability news of Optimus G, L9 and L5 II Dual. Today, we received a news said that LG Malaysia and Brightstar hold Optimus Press Conference on 22th May (Wednesday).



Judging from the image, we expected it will be the launch event of Optimus G, Optimus L9 and Optimus L5 II Dual. We believed that the pricing of Optimus G will be RM 1,599, Optimus L9 RM 899 and Optimus L5 II Dual RM 529. For more information of these three devices please click here.

[Updated] LG Optimus G available in Malaysia for RM 1,599, Optimus L9 and Optimus L5 II Dual is here

Previously, I've posted that the Optimus G priced at RM 1,799. After today a check, I found out it was not true. The Optimus G is priced at RM 1,599 and available in Brightstar Malaysia.

The Optimus G features 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 4.7" (1280 x 768 pixels) True HD IPS Plus display, 13 MP camera, 1.3 MP front, 1080p video recording, 2,100 mAh battery and it is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in Malaysia. While there's still no information about Jelly Bean update in Malaysia, believed that it will received the update soon. For this type of specs priced at RM 1,599. It is really worth to purchase it.
