Google has announced Android Wear three months ago, the company has detailed the features of it in Google I/O 2014 keynote. LG, Motorola and Samsung have announced their latest wearable devices powered by Android Wear too.

[Google I/O 2014] Google previews Android L, the next major Android version

Right after the Android One, Google has also announced a developer preview of the upcoming Android L release in Google I/O 2014.

The new Android L is the next major Android version, though its final name and version number yet to be confirmed. The Android L comes with new UI - refreshed status bar, dialer and other system apps. The new firmware also comes with redesigned transition animations.

With Android L, the notifications are now available on the lockscreen, which is same as Nokia X Platform. Users can now either tap a notification from the lockscreen and be taken to the app responsible for it, or you can swipe it right off.
