BlackBerry Passport goes official, now available in Malaysia

BlackBerry has announced the latest flagship device - BlackBerry Passport. The BlackBerry Passport is aimed at the "mobile professionals"with squarish design.


The BlackBerry Passport has a 4.5" 1:1 aspect ratio display with 1,440 x 1,440 resolution at massive 435 ppi. It is powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB expandable storage.

The BlackBerry Passport comes with new iconic keyboard. The physical keyboard provides more typing accuracy and leaves more screen space for viewing. It is also touch-enabled, so you can perform many functions right on the keyboard. It’s responsive to touch so you can scroll web pages, flick to type or slide along the keys to move the cursor.

BlackBerry Z3 is now available in Malaysia for RM 699

BlackBerry Malaysia today has officially launched the Z3 in Malaysia with the price tag of RM 699. The latest BlackBerry Z3 is an affordable smartphone with a 5" qHD (540 x 960 pixels) display.


The BlackBerry Z3 is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card up to 32 GB.

The device has a 5 MP camera at the back with capable of 1080p video recording. The 1.1 MP front-facing camera is able to record 720p video for video conferencing.

Juicing up the device is a 2,500 mAh battery that can last for 15.5 hours of talk time, 16.2 days of stand-by time, 84 hours of audio playback and 10 hours of video playback.

The device is running on latest BlackBerry 10.2 OS with Android apps compatible. The device will be available from July 7th onwards with the price tag of RM 699.

BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982 goes official

The new BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982 is now official. Again, it is an exclusive device, only 500 units will be sold worldwide.



The Porsche Design P'9982 is BlackBerry Z10-based smartphone with premium body. It is running on BlackBerry 10.2 OS with some modifications, including rectangular app icons and a new watch face.

It seems that BlackBerry is now working on a new BlackBerry smartphone with Porsche Design, the last Porsche Design BlackBerry smartphone was the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981, which is currently available in Malaysia for more than RM 6,000. Today, the new BlackBerry P'9982 has leaked in a hands-on video. Check the video below:



The P'9982 has identical internals as the BlackBerry Z10, and it will be powered by BlackBerry OS 10 too. As it is Porsche Design, the P'9982 surely will come with premium body and it will be having leather battery cover.

Blackberry OS with Google Play Store

For the BlackBerry users,  it may be a good news.  For the next blackberry os 10 software update,  it may contained a various app... The Google Play Store. The Blackberry OS claimed as supporting the Android app at the future.

Well it will be a long wait, still no news about release date but the way.  From the photo we saw actually the beta or alpha leaks from a forum. With amazingly Blackberry hardware like Q10 combine with Android apps,  perfect for the social apps and the emulator gaming with mapping keys.

Low-cost BlackBerry 10 smartphone codenamed Kopi leaks

You have saw the entry-level BlackBerry C series smartphone a couple days ago, but it seems that BlackBerry not only planning a full touchscreen entry-level smartphone, a new BlackBerry 10 smartphone, codenamed as Kopi, has leaked out and it has a BlackBerry's signature QWERTY keyboard.

As you can see from the image above, the smartphone looks identical to the Q5, however the smartphone reportedly will cheaper than the Q5.

BlackBerry entry-level C series smartphone leaks

Few days ago, BlackBerry had unveiled their latest flagship device - BlackBerry Z30. It's time for the entry-level BlackBerry smartphone. Today a BlackBerry C series smartphone surfaced. The C series is an entry-level handset, it is another BlackBerry 10 smartphone, of course.

As you can see, the smartphone has a Verizon logo next to the earpiece. It is codenamed as Americano, so there's a probability that the smartphone will only goes on sale in U.S.

BlackBerry announces Z30 with 5" 720p display

BlackBerry has just announced their new flagship device BlackBerry Z30. The size and shape looks identical to the rumour that media has made couple of weeks ago.

      

It has a 5" HD Super AMOLED display with 294 ppi. Like the BlackBerry Z10, the Z30 also has a 16 GB internal storage and  2 GB of RAM which suitable for multitasking. It offers a micro SD card slot to expand the storage if needed.

BlackBerry Z30 gets sized up against the Sony Xperia Z1

Tomorrow BlackBerry will unveil something interesting, but we do not know what BlackBerry plans to unveil. Perhaps there will be a new device appears tomorrow, and the device may be the BlackBerry Z30 a.k.a "Aristo" shown at image below.

This time, the BlackBerry Z30 spotted next to the new Xperia Z1. Judging by the image above, the BlackBerry Z30 will probably having a 5" display similar to the Xperia Z1. The BlackBerry Z30 will be the new flagship after the Z10.

[Updated] BlackBerry media event sets on tomorrow, 18th of September

We have received an invitation of a press conference from BlackBerry Malaysia, which is happening on tomorrow, 18th of September.


No further information of what BlackBerry will be unveil. So everything will be clear after the event. Also, the BlackBerry conference is just a day before the Nokia Lumia 1020 media event and 2 days before the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear media event.

New entry-level BlackBerry 9720 comes with BB OS 7.1

BlackBerry just announced a new entry-level BB OS 7.1 smartphone - BlackBerry 9720. It comes with 2.8" HVGA touchscreen and a hardware QWERTY keyboard.

We thought that BlackBerry will not building any BB OS 7.1 smartphone anymore, but it seems that BlackBerry doesn't want to give up BB OS 7.1. The BlackBerry 9720 has a hardware QWERTY keyboard as the previous BB OS 7 smartphone. Besides the keyboard there's also BBM that the 9720 has going on.

BlackBerry Z30 leaks in images and video

The BlackBerry Z30 (previously called A10 or Aristo) has make an appearance in a photo previously.


As you can see the image above, the Z30 is much bigger than the Z10 and it shares much of its design with its sibling. The Z30 has silver accent on the bottom of the phone and it is much wider than the Z10.

BlackBerry A10 is said to be the next flagship device from BlackBerry. It will be having a bigger screen than the Z10. Rumor said that it will be having a 5" AMOLED display with 720p resolution. Today, the live photos and video of BlackBerry A10 leak, we spotted that the phone is AT&T device.

The BlackBerry A10 will be powered by 1.7 GHz dual-core processor. The battery capacity of it has been increase to 2,800 mAh. Other specs is quite similar to the Z10.

The BlackBerry A10, codenamed Aristo will be having a 5" 720p HD display, rather than Full HD display as most high-end smartphones will be packing a Full HD display.

BlackBerry Q5 available in Malaysia for RM 1,299 from 15th July

BlackBerry has finally brought the 3rd BB10 smartphone to Malaysia - BlackBerry Q5. The BlackBerry Q5 will be available in Malaysia from 15th July for RM 1,299.

The BlackBerry Q5 is almost similar to the Q10, it has a 3.1" IPS LCD display with 720 x 720 pixels at 328 ppi pixel density. The Q5 powered by a dual-core Snapdragon processor but clocked at 1.2 GHz. It also having 2 GB of RAM but with only 8 GB internal storage, there's microSD card slot too.

The BlackBerry Z10 was available in Malaysia few months ago and priced at RM 2,188. Many people thought that the QWERTY version - Q10 will be cheaper than it.

But unfortunately, what I get was it is more expensive than the Z10 which is priced at RM 2,388. Many peoples will think that it is better to buy Sony Xperia Z, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Note II, HTC One, iPhone 5, Nokia Lumia 920 and others high-end different OS flagships from BB10 OS.

BlackBerry Z10 officially launched in Malaysia, price at RM 2,188

Are you a BlackBerry fans? Here's a good news for you if you are longing the Blackberry Z10, the BlackBerry Z10 were officially announced yesterday, the price of it are RM 2,188.

RIM (BlackBerry now) has make a big changes for it smartphone and Operating System. The BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 are the first BB10 phone. The new OS has improved a lot from previous OS, not only the OS, the new Z10 and Q10 are also packing with some killer specs.

The Z10 are also the first BB phone with 8 MP main camera and it can shoot 1080p Full HD video, the camera has TimeShift (Scaldo-powered tech). It also offer 2 MP front-facing shooter that can shoot 720p video.
