[CES 2015] Alcatel OneTouch launches the PIXI 3 family

At this year's annual CES conference, Alcatel OneTouch has announced the new generation of its PIXI line of smartphones. This new generation from the fast-growing smartphone brand is offering 3G/4G connectivity and multiple OS platforms.

One of the headlining features of this new incarnation of smartphones from Alcatel is that it's offering 3G/4G LTE connectivity for the 4'', 4.5'' and 5'' variants while offering regular 3G connectivity for the 3.5'' variant. [CES 2015] Alcatel OneTouch unveils the aptly named WATCH

Alcatel has joined in on the recent wearable craze by unveiling the appropriately named WATCH. The new wearable from Alcatel features a very premium and elegant design at an affordable price. In launching its new wearable, Alcatel is sending out a strong message to its competitors that it's more than happy to provide new innovations to its customers at a fraction of the cost. Besides that, Alcatel has smartly designed the WATCH to appeal to those who are interested in it as a fashion accessory somewhat in the vein of a traditional watch.

[CES 2015] HTC Desire 826 has UltraPixel camera at the front

Besides the Desire 320, HTC has unveiled the Desire 826 today at CES 2015. The Desire 826 is much different from the rest of Desire smartphones, it does have front-facing camera but the front-facing camera is the company highly promised UltraPixel camera which was founded in the One (M7 and M8).

From the design, the Desire 826 looks a lot like the Desire Eye. The BoomSound speakers are in between the glass and the plastic panels, and it comes with Dolby Audio.

At the front it has a 5.5" Full HD display and the device is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM.

While the front camera is an UltraPixel sensor, the back remains the same as the Desire 820 and Desire Eye - 13 MP. The Desire 826 comes with Eye Experience too.

The HTC Desire 826 is the first HTC smartphone to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense UI. It packs a 2,600 mAh battery with Extreme Power Saving feature.

The Desire 826 is scheduled to roll-out later this month and Asia-Pacific countries will get it first.

[CES 2015] Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro and Vibe Band V10 wearable debut at CES 2015

Lenovo has revealed a new line of products under its Vibe brand, with a new phone, weable and selfie accessory revealed at its CES conference to seriously make the tech company in the vibe with its aptly named product line.

The new Vibe X2 Pro joins Lenovo's current Vibe Phone line. The new full-metal-back handset has the same layered design as the regular X2 while the stacks of color make it look unique. In terms of specs, the X2 Pro is no shrinking violet with a 5.3-inch screen that's been said to be outdoor viewing friendly and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 1.5 GHz processor.

One notable drawback is that the X2 Pro only runs Android 4.4. On the flipside, with auto-focus front and rear cameras that count 13 MP photography enthusiasts need not fret.

[CES 2015] Asus ZenFone 2 debuts at CES 2015

Asus today has unveiled the next generation ZenFone at CES 2015. The ZenFone 2, is a flagship smartphone in the ZenFone family. It has all-new design employing iconic ASUS design elements that echo the spirit of Zen, with a luxurious brushed-metal finish and distinctive concentric-circle detailing.

The device has a curved case that tapers to an incredibly thin 3.9 mm at the edges, which provides a better handling. The ZenFone 2 has rear-mounted volume control keys, much like the LG G series.

[CES 2015] HTC Desire 320 with quad-core CPU announced

HTC has announced its presence at this year's CES with the reveal of the new HTC Desire 320 , the younger brother to the Desire 310. The Desire 310 has been announced about the same time last year and now its younger sibling comes along with very similar specs.

The Desire 320 is basically the same in size as its older brother and also keeps the 4.5'' FWVGA screen whose resolution is 480 x 854 pixels, The Desire 320 is once again powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor although there's no word on whether would it be the Cortex-A7 chipset. It comes in either 512 MB of RAM with 4 GB of internal memory or 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory depending on the region.

One thing the Desire 320 has that's a notable plus point is that it ships with Android 4.4 Kit kat right out of the box. Consumers would probably be wise to insert a microSD card for additional storage space.

Everything else should be pretty familiar, a 5 MP camera with 1080p video capture which is pretty impressive for an entry-level device. A VGA camera is on the front just like before.

In terms of connectivity, there's quad-band 2G and 3G with HSPA going up to 21 Mbps. The Desire 320 uses microSIM cards for calls and messaging purposes. Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS are all features we expect to see on it. The phone is using a 2,100 mAh Li-Po Battery which is able to give a solid 12 hours talk time on a 3G network and an impressive 690 hours on standby.

[CES 2015] LG officially announces the G Flex 2

The LG G3 has just entered Malaysian market last week, but it's not all. LG today has unveiled the second generation of its flexible device, the G Flex 2, at CES 2015 in Las Vegas.

The new G Flex 2 has a smaller 5.5" (down from 6") P-OLED display but with a higher 1080p resolution (up from 720p). Additionally, the screen is still flexible and is protected by LG-developed glass cover that said to be 20% more durable than Gorilla Glass 3.
